I would not download the beta, just get 5.0. Betas crash a lot and can damage your system.download limewire beta And Limewire itself is not a very safe software, so I would just buy my mp3's off of Amazon, but that's just me. Good luck!!! Hope you have a good antivirus :)

Aside from the legal questions, you must focus on what Limewire does. It turns your computer into a node on a planetary file sharing network. Best case, your bandwidth will be bdownload limewire betaorrowed and your browsing and other activities will slow down a lot. Worst case, someone will share harmful executable applications (viruses) with you. In between, some guy half way around the world can hijack your processor and do whatever he wants with it. If free music is worth the risks, go for it. If not, reconsider.
