free downloadFree Download?

Anyone knows of a website, where I can download/read ebooks for free.
Project Gutenberg has over twenty thousand titles available in plain text format, and there are hundreds of other sites as well. Most of these books are in the public domain or have been published under the Creative Commons copyright system. This system allows people to download and use books while preserving the author's rights, or such rights that the author wishes to reserve. free downloadI stuck a few links below to get you started, but this is not hard to do once you get the hang of it.

Put the words, free e-books, or free online books in a good browser (like say, ummm Yahoo?) and you should find more sites than you can possibly explore in one sitting.
try these free download link sites

Oh and free downloadyou can also get books on www.scribd.com

Try demonoid.com, although you might need someone to send you an invitation code to get in
In my opinion, Project Gutenberg is the best one:

Keep in mind that the books you will find for free are classics-- new works are still copyright protected and it is illegal to download them for free.
